Jacob is our rock climbing and technical route specialist. Having lived in the Yosemite Valley for seven summers he has climbed over 35 big walls and more than 100 peaks in the Sierras. Jacob guides on Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya in Africa, Bogda Feng in China, and Aconcagua in Argentina including the challenging Polish Glacier Direct route. Additionally Jacob has led groups in Alaska on mountaineering courses and climbed in Washington, Canada, Utah, as well as summits in Mexico, Ecuador, Peru and Argentina. Jacob holds speed ascent records in Yosemite and first alpine style ascents in Patagonia.
