When he's not leading sea kayaking and mountaineering courses in Alaska, Jonathan spends his winters doing avalanche control and rescue with Alta Ski Patrol. Originally from Vermont, Jonathan is an avid skier, ice climber, and adventurer. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of natural history and avalanche awareness on our mountaineering and sea kayaking leadership and guide training courses.
